![]() I'm just trying to raise a flag to add a feature that is pretty much standard in many photo editing apps (perhaps not so standard on mobile). I typically shoot RAW + jpeg so I have both options and will work with the jpeg when I need to. I"m not demanding better RAW editing tools. I am not advocating to only shoot RAW or not to. So whenever I do edit RAW in Snapseed, all of the noise that's there is much more prevalent than if I chose jpeg.Įven so, if I chose to shoot or edit jpeg, noise can't be further reduced if I chose to. RAW photos apply nothing to the image in the form of correction. When you shoot jpeg, noise reduction is automatically applied, it may not be great but there's something. The RAW editing tools in Snapseed are good enough (though not great), but what's missing for me is any form of noise reduction. I absolutely love using Snapseed, but as a photographer outside of the mobile world, I shoot RAW more than jpeg. ![]() Readers, add/update your own flair above!ĭevelopers, click here to request special flair.
